A Valantines Day Poem for House Hunters

14 02 2011

Roses are Red,

Violets are Blue,

My Short Sale Sucks,

How ’bout you.

I was supposed to be sitting by the fire with My Sweet

In our very first home, eating a V-Day treat.

But the bank said hold on, “We need more time.”

We already gave them three months, “Could this be a sign?”

We know in our hearts this house is the one.

It has a master suit with a jacuzzi tub just for fun.

And the his and her sinks are a necessity these days.

I learned “pulling your hair out” is not just a phrase.

We already paid for the inspection, a septic and well test.

We thought we were done, offer accepted, now let’s rest.

But the bank didn’t answer, no input, no time frame.

I swear a short sale can drive you insane.

Should we give up, just quit, walk away and start over?

Rent for a year, a place that will accept our 3 cats, 2 birds and dog named Grover.

We’ll give it a week then rent, that is what I’m proposing.

Whats that you say, the bank called were are closing.

Roses are Red

Violets are Blue

We’ve moved in to our Home

and love it, Thank you.
