Home inspection

It is your (the buyers) responsibility to schedule and pay for any inspections. When we submitted the offer I will have given you some information on home inspections. You will want to have chosen a company and given them a call to discuss pricing and how they schedule their appointments. As soon as both you and the seller have agreed upon the terms of your contract you need to make the appointment for the home inspection. I will be happy to meet you at the home for the inspection. It is not required but I recommend you be there. This way you can ask the inspector about any of your concerns or any of the inspectors findings.

Depending on what was agreed upon in the contract, any concerns regarding what the inspector found will then be addressed. Once everything is taken care of, be it fixing the problem or adjusting the price, we are ready to move on to step six.
